The highest form of charity is to help people help themselves
The Hebrew Free Loan Society is entirely volunteer-operated, with no paid staff and no formal office. Our board members and other volunteers handle all the work involved in giving loans, collecting loan payments, raising funds, publicizing our work, and administering the Society.
We can always use more help. We're especially looking for people to help with spreading the word about our work, and raising funds.
If you can offer as little as a few hours a month, send us an email and we'll find a way to put you to work.
